2022 Wilson Watervale Riesling - Last Stocks

From the blue ribbon calcareous soils of Watervale where shards of limestone dot the red soil, the Wilson Watervale Riesling is picked at the earliest level of maturity to give a light, fresh and fruit forward style. The quality of the 2022 Clare Rieslings has thus far been nothing short of exceptional and this wonderful rendition from Watervale continues that hot run of form.
Brilliant water like core with highlights of green around the edges. Intense lime and citrus aromas leap from the glass with some orange rind, distinct talc and steely mineral notes also evident. Driving the mouth watering palate are zesty lemon and lime flavours with some orange rind, wet steel, talc and chalky mineral characters adding further interest in the background. Crunchy fresh acidity lends tension. The finish very long and highly scrumptious.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
