2022 Warrabilla Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Impenetrable midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing reveals herbaceous green bean and tobacco leaf like aromas over blackcurrant, black olive and earth notes. Rich and full the palate features generous blackcurrant and ripe mulberry fruits avoiding much of the green notes that were evident on the nose. Tobacco, subtle green herb, earthy black olive and spicy cigar box characters ensue. Stern muscular tannin structure with a tightly wound finish that’s slightly bitter.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
