2022 Wangolina Gruner Veltliner

Grüner Veltliner is an Austrian variety that thrives in the cool or coastal climates of Australia. It is very similar to Riesling but shows more richness and texture on the palate. This is an excellent expression of the varietal.
Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Pronounced pear, lime and red apple scents mix with hints of honeysuckle and spice. Boasting fantastic intensity, textural volume and richness are fleshy ripe pear and red apple fruits. Subtle honeysuckle, musk and spice nuances lie underneath. Superb depth and concentration with brisk acidity shining through the long, lusciously fruited finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
