A blend of 41% Grenache, 30% Shiraz and 29% Mourvedre. Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a bright red hue. Expressive red to dark raspberry and red liquorice scents infused with a mix of graphite and pepper evolve out of the glass followed by some scorched earth and dried herb notes. Juicy spicy red raspberry, cherry and red liquorice fruits are layered across the medium bodied palate with infusions of fresh herbs, scorched earth and pepper lying underneath. Polished tannins finishing with a fresh red fruited aftertaste that’s laced with pepper and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 15%

Other Reviews…..
The mighty Barossa GSM, some subtle bunchy gear in the mix with an enticing nose of blueberry, satsuma plum and red cherry fruits with some top notes of raspberry coulis. There is a creamy aspect to this wine that I love. Berry cream. Jasmine and ginger spice too, with touches of cola and earth. The tannins and acidity are chalky and fine, and the wine slowly retreats with harmonious aplomb. Drink by 2030.
