2022 Triennes Rose

Triennes is a joint venture between Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine from Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and is located in the Var, to the East of Aix en Provence. It has farmed organically since 2008.
Made principally with Cinsault, it also has some Grenache, Syrah and Merlot thrown into the blend. Translucent salmon pink colour. Fragrant raspberry, peach, musk and blood orange scents drift out of the glass followed by some wet slate notes. Beautifully rounded and supplely textured across the palate, delicious strawberry, peach and raspberry fruits are featured over a stony mineral back drop. Finishes dry with refreshing acidity and a long slippery aftertaste.
