2022 Trenel Macon Villages

From 25 to 60 year old vines with fermentation taking place in a combination of stainless steel tanks, cement and oak barrels.
Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with greenish toned edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pear and peach are complimented by dried honey, crème brulee, subtle bees wax and spicy cashew notes. Rich fleshy pear and peach fruits overlay dried honey, wet stone and delicate spice characters. Gently creamy in its feel it possesses good underlying freshness as well as ample depth and texture. Finishes long and flavoursome.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
