2022 Tomfoolery Son of a Gun Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in French and American oak. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose is filled with ripe blackcurrant and liquorice scents which are complimented by cedary tobacco, subtle earth and bay leaf notes. Rich, lush blackcurrant fruit drives the medium to full bodied palate with notions of liquorice, dusty vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy bay leaf characters lining the back half. Polished mouthfeel with finely grained tannins and a long, refined yet amply fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
