2022 Tim McNeil Wines Watervale Riesling

Tim McNeil's dry grown, tiny five acre plot of Riesling is located on Springvale Rd, Watervale, home also to Knappstein’s Ackland and Grosset’s Springvale vineyard.

Intensely flavoured and racy, this is one super scrumptious Watervale Riesling.

Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a glimmer of green around the outskirts. Powerful lime, citrus and orange rind scents leap from the glass pursued by talc and chalky mineral notes. Bursting with a concentrate of lime, citrus and orange rind fruits, the mouth watering palate is underscored by wet slate, talc and chalky mineral elements. Dry, lip smacking finish with crunchy wet steel infused acidity leading into a very long and zesty mineral laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
