2022 The Willows Vineyard Bonesetter Shiraz

A lavish, mouth coating expression of Barossa Shiraz.

Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate and toasty vanillin oak aromas spiral out of the glass followed by some earthy mocha and spice notes. Ultra rich with thick mouth coating flavours of dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate which carry an opulent feel. Toasty vanillin oak, mocha and spicy earth elements lurk beneath. Lavish and powerful, it has velvety yet sturdily built tannins and a long, sumptuous conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

A thick-shouldered Barossa shiraz that, if it was a human, would play full-forward for the Nuriootpa Tigers. Blackberry and black cherry fruits of considerable depth, cedar, vanillin, licorice, dark chocolate, roast meats and earth. Savoury and nicely composed on the exit; there's plenty of depth and latent power on display. Drink by 2040.
