Rich and amply weighted with a gentle chalkiness across the long, generous and spicy finish.

Deep dark red black core with a very dark red hue. Spicy black currant aromas show good lift out of the glass complimented by notions of tobacco, earth, dried herbs and black olives. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits carry ample weight and flesh across the palate with earthy tobacco, dried herb, black olive and spice elements the undercard. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins impart a gentle chalky feel across the long, generous finish that shows plenty of spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
