2022 Tenafeate Creek Wines One Tree Hill Basket Press GSM

A blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Shiraz and 25% Mourvedre aged for 12 months in older French oak barrels. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Emanating from the glass with good elevation are freshly crushed dark raspberry, red liquorice and plum scents which are trailed by vanillin confectionary and subtle pepper notes. Rich juicy dark raspberry and liquorice fruits are interwoven with vanillin spice and delicate peppered earth elements. Polished tannins finishing with a youthful freshness on the slightly inky but otherwise succulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
