Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils with some vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper notes also evident. Rich and lush the palate is flooded with dark plum, dark cherry and liquorice fruits which meld into a back drop of vanillin cedar, light earth and subtle peppered fennel characters. Opulent feel with velvet smooth tannins, finishing seductive and dark fruited.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
