2022 Sons of Eden Pumpa Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Shiraz matured in a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads for a period of 12 months. Dense inky black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackcurrant and mulberry aromas are complimented by cigar box, black olive, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Rich red to black currant and ripe mulberry fruits flood the medium to full bodied palate with notions of tobacco, vanillin, black olive, dried herbs and spice lending complexity through the back half. Nicely integrated fine grained tannins finishing long and refined.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
