Sons of Eden have been at the forefront of a new wave of Barossa winemakers revitalising the regions wine styles. Whilst some have pushed the barrier a little too far, overshooting the mark in their pursuit of elegance and freshness at the sacrifice of Barossa’s trademark richness, these boys regularly hit the bullseye. Right through their range of reds they are a model of consistency combining Barossa’s famed rich fruit with supple textures, a delicious savouriness and a fresh feel, never losing sight of what Barossa does best – produce rich, opulent full bodied reds.

Showcasing Barossa’s trademark intensity and sumptuous fruit this perennial customer favourite continues its run of hot form.

The Marschall Family vineyards are located in the Tanunda and Ebenezer districts of the Barossa Valley with vines aged between 20 to 31 years old. Maturation takes place in a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads for a period of 14 months.
Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Alluring scents of dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and blueberry are complimented by some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and peppered fennel notes. The seductive palate is flush with rich dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and ripe blueberry fruits which carry a slippery feel. Subtle spicy vanillin cedar, scorched earth and peppered fennel elements lend further interest to the back half. Possessing good underlying freshness and velvet smooth tannins it finishes long, plush and extremely moreish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
