2022 Solum Wines Syrah

Rich and earthy with juicy black fruits, a muscular feel and long peppery finish.

Matured in French oak for 14 months. Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aromas of blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fill the nostrils followed by some scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered meat notes. Rich and earthy, the palate features juicy blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits over a vanillin cedar, scorched earth, dried meat and peppered herb back drop. Meaty and muscular in it’s feel with ripe chewy tannins. The long, deeply fruited finish showing plenty of pepper.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
