The Detailed review: Dense pitch black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Potent black plum, liquorice and black cherry scents intermix with smoky vanillin oak, earth and spice. Rich and concentrated, the palate is flush with black plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits. Smoky vanillin cedar, earth and spicy dried herb accents ensue. Polished tannins and surprising underlying freshness lead into an opulently fleshed finish that shows plenty of length.
