Matured in French oak for approximately 15 months. Dark red core with a light red to red hue. Fragrant violet, red to dark cherry, winter strawberry and rhubarb scents are trailed by forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar notes. Rich and powerful yet simultaneously light and fresh, delicious red to dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits adorn the palate. Lending further complexity are notions of forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Fine grained, neatly integrated tannins with a long savoury red fruited finish that has an elegant feel to it.
