The Number series showcases the best wines from the Koomooloo vineyard, planted in 1989 at and altitude of 900m making it one of the highest and coolest vineyards in Australia.
Chardonnay grapes are handpicked, pressed, and undergo wild fermentation in French oak barrels, with 30% being new oak. The wine experiences partial malolactic fermentation in spring, and during its ten-month maturation on lees, frequent stirring (battonage) takes place.
