2022 Parker Estate Cool Climate Chardonnay

Forty percent fermented in new French oak with partial malolactic fermentation and aged for 4 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Nectarine, grapefruit and delicate dried honey aromas are trailed by gun flint end notes. Round, creamy textured and nicely concentrated, mouth filling flavours of ripe peach, nectarine and dried honey wrap themselves around the palate. Traces of biscuity nougat and spice lie underneath. Good balanced freshness with a long, enveloping finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
