2022 Pala Soprasole Vermentino di Sardegna

Established by Salvatore Pala in 1950, today, sixty years later Mario Pala represents the third generation of the family to run this famous estate. The winery is located in Serdiana, a small town some 20km from Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia and specialises in Vermentino and Cannonau.
Bright pale straw colour with green straw tinged edges and a watery hue. Ripe pear and lime aromas combine with red apple and stony mineral notes. Beautifully rounded in its feel the palate has a delicious flavour profile of pear, lime and red apple fruits over a wet stone and mineral background. Excellent intensity finishing dry with brisk acidity and infusions of fresh herbs interspersed throughout the long aftertaste.
