2022 O’Leary Walker Polish Hill River Riesling

Brilliant water like core with greenish tinged edges. Intense lime and citrus aromas jump out of the glass followed by some orange rind, green apple, talc and chalky mineral notes. Tense yet concentrated lemon and lime flavours are backed by green apple, chalky talc and steely mineral characters. Finishes dry with racy acidity and a long crunchy aftertaste that shows great precision.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Planted circa 2001, but organically grown and made since 2010. It has an evocative bouquet with its mix of citrus and talc which take shape on the palate, with its extraordinary staying power, acidity just as it should be. Drink by 2032.
