2022 O’Leary Walker Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Barrel fermented in second use French oak followed by 6 months maturation. Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Expressive white peach and nectarine aromas intermix with dried honey, subtlety toasted biscuity oak and spicy nougat notes. Fleshy white peach and nectarine fruits are layered across the well defined, elegant palate with delicate dried honey, biscuity nougat and gun flint elements lingering underneath. Finishes dry with good freshness and a refined mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
