2022 Muto Tinta Barroca

Mostly whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in 500 litre puncheon barrels for a period of 10 months. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Emanating from the glass are spicy sour to dark cherry aromas infused with dried clove, smoked meat and peppered earth like notes. Light, elegant and savoury the palate is decorated with juicy morello cherry and liquorice fruits which overlay a dried clove, earth and spice back drop. Good youthful energy with slightly grainy tannins and a character filled finish of medium length.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
