Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe dark cherry, plum and vanillin spice aromas mix with subtle earth notes. Ripe, plump and sweetly fruited, a hefty dose of vanillin cedar for the most part overwhelms dark plum, anise and spice flavours. Velvet smooth tannins with a juicy conclusion that has a prominent spicy vanillin cedar component running through it.
