Medium bodied fleshy dark plum and liquorice fruits are overlaid by smoky clove, dried meat, vanillin cedar, black olive and peppered earth characters. Meaty feel with polished yet slightly chewy tannins. Finishes with a long smoky earth, black olive and blackpepper laced aftertaste.

Other Reviews….
Ferrous red loam over a limestone substrata. Always bright wines from this site, marked by pitched red fruit accents. Soaring florals from lilac to peony. Molten raspberry, tonka bean and licorice strap. Meaty with air. The tannins, buoyant and chiselled, a welcome relief to this mid-weighted wine's lilt of joy and effusive energy. Don't be fooled. This will age very well. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
