2022 Monte Tondo Mito Soave

The Monte Tondo vineyard can be found nestling in the gentle hills of Soave just a few kilometres from Verona on a slope overlooking the valley. Today it is 4th generation brother and sister team, Luca and Marta Magnabosco, who carry on their family’s passion for the land and its wines.
Twenty-five hectares of vineyards are situated on the best plots that the Soave zone can offer on predominately volcanic soils: Monte Tenda, Monte Foscarino and Monte Tondo. The wines produced, from 100% Garganaga, are intensely perfumed with an unmistakable Soave character somewhere between florals and fruitiness.
Brilliant water like core with greenish toned edges. Jumping out of the glass are pear and red apple aromas trailed by hints of quince, fresh herbs and wet stone. Delicious juicy pear and red apple fruits overlay a back drop of lime, delicate quince and wet stone. Beautifully rounded texturally it finishes dry, crisp and mouth wateringly long. Delivers fantastic value yet again.
