Produced from mainly Grenache and Syrah with maturation taking place in concrete vats and stainless steel tanks for 6 months.
Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Raspberry, liquorice and red plum aromas escape the glass followed by some provincial herb and earthy incense like notes. Juicy dark cherry, raspberry and liquorice fruits have a fleshy feel over an earthy incense and peppered herb back drop. Slightly chewy tannins and good underlying freshness with a peppery, fruit loaded finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
