2022 Lethbridge Pinot Noir

Sourced from two single vineyards in Geelong, one in the Moorabool Valley and another from the Bellarine with all the fruit handpicked and fermented separately to keep the individual vineyard characters distinct. Each parcel was treated the same; wild yeast fermented with around 50% whole bunches. The wine was then matured for 11 months in 40% new French oak barriques.
Dark red core with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Highly fragrant scents of red to dark cherries, strawberry, violet and subtle rhubarb stream out of the glass complimented by forest floor, hints of clove and brambly cedar. Expansive, silky textured and powerful, the moreish palate is layered with a mix of spicy dark cherry and strawberry fruits which are seamlessly intermeshed with traces of rhubarb, forest floor, dried herbs and brambly cedar. Beautifully polished tannins with a long seductive conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
