2022 Larnook Tempranillo

Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced black cherry and liquorice scents fill the nostrils with some scorched earth, subtle leather and spice notes also chiming in. Rich lush black cherry and liquorice fruits drive the medium to full bodied palate with some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spice elements ensuing. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a medium to long finish well endowed with black fruits.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Flush with fruit, velvety in texture, more-ish from start to finish. This is another winner from Larnook. Licorice red and black, musk, roasted spice characters and a garden herb note, in a ripe context. It’s an uncomplicated wine but but the flavour and texture here are drastically enjoyable. Drink 2023-2027.
