2022 La Prova Sangiovese

Matured in old, large French oak barrels for a period of about nine months. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Expressive red currant aromas laced with rose petals emanate from the glass trailed by some fresh herb, light earth and spice notes. Spread across the savoury mid weighted palate are delicious red currant and red cherry fruits which are interwoven with infusions of fresh herbs, earth and spicy cedar. Slightly grippy fine grained tannins and vibrant acidity lead into a long energetic red fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
