2022 JC’s Own Straturn Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black heart with an equally deep dark purple black hue. Heady freshly crushed ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum scents fill the nostrils trailed by some dark chocolate, vanilla and spice notes. Rich, plush blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits carry a youthful freshness across the full bodied palate. Vanillin earth, hints of dark chocolate, crushed rock and pepper linger through the back half. Slightly inky finish with ripe chewy tannins and a juicy yet sturdy conclusion.
