2022 Jackson Brooke Doeven Vineyard Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime and citrus have a delicate oily toast and lemon butter overlay with some wet steel notes also evident. Taut and zippy the linear yet texturally pleasing palate features racy lime and lemon fruits over a back drop of toast, delicate lemon butter and steely mineral elements. A beam of laser like acidity sculpting the long, dry, precise finish.
Drink over the next 8-10 years.

Plenty of flavour and texture here, mint and green apple, a little honey gloss, some exotic spice too. Some chalky texture, a light lemon peel bitterness and grip, kind of honey/creamy too, but with intense acidity to cut through, and a long nutty/spicy finish. Very good. Drink 2022-2028+
