2022 Heirloom Vineyards Pinot Noir

Includes 50% whole bunches with ageing taking place in second and third use French oak barriques for a period of 7 months. Dark red core with black shaded edges and a red hue. The alluring nose serves up expressive aromas of violet, red cherry, rhubarb and strawberry infused with dried clove followed by some forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Supple and silken in its feel the palate is decorated with delicious red cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits. Prominent whole bunch characters are infused throughout this wine with some forest floor and spicy cedar elements also evident on the back half. Velvet smooth tannins with an expansive, savoury and fresh long finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
