2022 Heggies Vineyard Single Block Reserve Chardonnay

A brisk, light to medium bodied Chardonnay that finishes fresh and elegant.

Aged in a mix of ceramic eggs and French oak barriques for a period of 10 months on lees. Brilliant very pale straw colour with gleaming green tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated citrus, pear and nectarine aromas intermix with green apple, hints of lemon butter and bees wax. Brisk light to medium bodied palate with flavours of pear, citrus and nectarine overlaying a delicate back drop of bees wax and infusions of gun flint. Vivid, energetic acidity finishing fresh and elegant.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
