Matured in seasoned French oak hogsheads. Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackcurrant, liquorice and plum aromas mix with black olive, vanillin cedar, tobacco and bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits infused with black olive and tobacco sit over a bed of vanillin cedar and bay leaf. Nicely fleshed it has a fine grained tannin structure that possesses a sturdy underbelly. Long elegant conclusion.
