2022 Franz Haas Pinot Grigio

A ripe, fleshy textured Pinot Grigio with a counterpointing lick of fresh acidity.

Fermented off skins in 70% stainless steel with the balance in old barriques and aged on lees for a few months to build texture.
Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Elevated pear and red apple skin aromas are trailed by quince, hints of almond and spice. Ripe pear and apple fruits drive the fleshy textured palate with some quince, dried honey and almond elements sitting underneath. Finishes dry with a lick of fresh acidity counterpointing the fullness of the palate. The well rounded finish showing a dash of spice.
