2022 Fighting Gully Road Sangiovese

Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black shaded edges and a vibrant red hue. Spicy red currant and red liquorice aromas intermix with hints of graphite, dried herbs and faint tobacco. Juicy red cherry and red liquorice fruits have an underpinning of energetic acidity with dried herbs, earthy graphite and spicy tobacco characters also evident. Polished tannins finishing with a youthful freshness to the red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Includes 5% colorino, an old Chianti variety. The wine spent 28 days on skins, then matured in Italian-coopered large casks. Bright, clear crimson colour; it has a delicious sour cherry, raspberry and black pepper blend, the palate harmonious, juicy, and as fresh as a daisy. Drink to 2032.
