2022 Famille Hugel Gentil

A Moreish Alsace blend that’s rich and texturally lush yet energetic.

Gentil "Hugel" marries the exotic, spicy flavours of Gewurztraminer, the body of Pinot Gris, the finesse of Riesling, the grapiness of Muscat and the refreshing character of both Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner.
Bright straw colour with a watery hue. A delightful mix of pear, lychee and rosewater scents greet the nostrils with some Turkish delight, lime and ginger notes also evident. Rich and texturally lush, the moreish palate is awash with spicy pear, lychee, Turkish delight, musk and ginger flavours. Excellent intensity with brisk acidity lending an energetic feel to the long, dry, well rounded finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
