2022 Emilian Single Parcel Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of ripe peach, nectarine and dried honey intermingle with roasted almond, biscuity nougat and spice notes. Medium weighted the palate features nectarine and pear fruits over bees wax, oily toast like characters and spice. Waxy like mouthfeel with fresh acidity and a mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

From a vineyard in Gruyere. Barrel fermented and matured in hogsheads and barriques (30% new) with 100% mlf. Bright green gold. Aromas of stone fruits, orange blossom, honeysuckle and a little candied ginger pervade this quiet and complex wine. Equally restrained on the gently textured and even palate, there's a nice touch of grip on the finish, too. 125 dozen made. Drink by 2027.
