2022 Domaine Faiveley Rully Les Villeranges

Aged for 16 months in 50% French oak barrels (10% new) with regular lees stirring and 50% stainless steel vats. Brilliant pale straw colour with straw tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted ripe peach and baked pear aromas intermix with bees wax, crème brulee, roasted almond and spicy nougat notes. Rich baked pear, peach and nectarine fruits mix with crème brulee, subtle roasted almond and stony mineral characteristics. Relatively full it has a gentle river stone like textural feel yet retains a sense of freshness. Finishes long and generous with a lingering stony mineral element.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
