2022 Deviation Road Pinot Gris

Thirty percent of this wine was barrel fermented in older French oak barriques to provide additional texture. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear and Jonathan apple with a musk overlay are followed by hints of honeysuckle and spice. Luscious pear and red apple fruits drive the palate with dried honey and delicate spice elements lying underneath. Finishes dry with fresh acidity and a nicely rounded aftertaste.
