Dense pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackcurrant aromas infused with black olive are followed by some cigar box, earth and bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant fruits drive the medium to full bodied palate with some ripe mulberry, earthy tobacco, vanillin cedar and black olive characters lingering across the back half. Fine grained yet structured tannins with a generously fruited yet sturdy conclusion of ample length.
