2022 Chateau Tanunda Grand Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

Matured for 18 months in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels. Deep dark red black core with a dark red purple hue. Pronounced dark raspberry, liquorice and dark plum scents fill the nostrils with some vanillin confectionary and peppered earth notes also evident. Rich and plush the amply weighted palate is engulfed with succulent black raspberry and liquorice fruits which overlay vanillin cedar, earth and spicy pepper characters. Excellent power and concentration with velvety tannins finishing long, sumptuous and spicy.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
