Dense black dark red colour with a vibrant red to dark red hue. Showing good lift out of the glass are aromas of dark cherries and liquorice infused with fresh herbs. Hints of inky earth and incense are also evident. On the palate crunchy acidity underpins juicy cherry, raspberry and red liquorice fruits. Subtle inky earth, infusions of incense, blueberry and spice elements ensue. Slightly chewy tannins with an energetically fruity and bright finish.
