2022 Buller Wines The Nook Sangiovese

From 35 year old vines. Dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Emanating from the glass are spicy dark cherry and subtle red liquorice scents followed by dusty earth and tobacco notes. Rich dark cherry and liquorice fruits fill the mouth with vanillin cedar, spicy earth and dried herb characters lying underneath. Generously weighted and textured it finishes with slightly dryish tannins and a ripe fleshy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
