2022 Brokenwood Beechworth Pinot Noir

Fermented with 30% whole bunches and matured in used French oak barriques for 9 months. Semi translucent bright red core with a light red tinged hue. Fragrant red cherry and violet scents drift out of the glass followed by hints of strawberry, rhubarb, spicy clove and forest floor. Lightly weighted, supple and fresh the palate is decorated with an appealing flavour profile of red cherries and winter strawberries which are interwoven with delicate forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar characters. Fine polished tannins. The elegant, savoury conclusion showing ample length.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
