2022 Bink Wines Sergeant J Grenache

A blend of 85% Barossa Valley fruit and 15% Langhorne Creek with 20% whole bunch inclusion. Semi translucent, slightly cloudy red colour with a light red hue. Fragrant scents of red raspberry, liquorice, spicy red cherries and cranberries infused with fresh herbs and peppered earth greet the nostrils. Vibrant red raspberry and red liquorice fruits drive the light energetic palate with traces of sour to red cherries, earth and spicy herbs lying underneath. Lively acidity providing some crunch to the elegant, spritely finish.

Barossa Valley/Langhorne Creek grenache (85/15%); 20% whole bunches. A light, almost pinot-esque cherry red hue in the glass with bright aromas of crunchy red fruits, cranberry and watermelon cut through with hints of jasmine, gingerbread, amaro herbs, turned earth, dried meats, exotic spice and cola. That heady perfume from the nose carries through to the palate, too, where it sports a musky-edged natty vibe with gentle chalky tannin and a sapid briney twang to the acidity. Super fun, lighter drinking ... don't be afraid to pop it in the fridge. Drink 2023 - 2027.
