2022 Bindi Dixon Pinot Noir
Bindi’s Dixon Pinot Noir is sourced from two vineyard plantings, one in 1988 and the other in 2001. Fruit is fermented in open vats, 100% de-stemmed and matured in French oak barrels of which 10-15% are new for a period of 10 months. This wine shows a lively scent of red and black cherries, wild strawberries, earth, and spices. On the palate, it starts fresh and supple, gradually gaining texture and extending with vibrant and intense flavors. While it's still young, cellaring it carefully for three years or more will allow it to become even more complex, and enjoyable.
