A nicely shaped, mid weighted Chardonnay with a lick of freshness to the finish.
Matured in oak (15% new) on lees for a period of 10 months. Bright yellow straw colour with green toned edges and a watery hue. Aromas of peach and dried honey overlaid with oily toast like characters mix with some nougat, roasted almond and spice notes. Rich peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours carry a gently creamed textural feel with notions of roasted almonds, lemon butter and spice in the background. Balanced acidity lending a lick of freshness to the shapely mid length conclusion.
