Aged for 12 months in second to fourth fill American and French oak barrels. Superb colour density featuring an impenetrable pitch black heart along with a very deep dark red black hue. Nosing reveals scents of dark plum, liquorice and blueberry alongside some earthy graphite and peppered fennel notes. Fleshy dark plum and liquorice fruits overlay vanillin cedar, subtle earthy graphite and peppered fennel characters. Good freshness with polished tannins and a plush yet vibrant finish.
